The MJCT was proud to spend this past weekend honouring our long time chair Albert Bazinet
after his passing in early October of this year. The weekend began with the opening ceremonies
where Albert’s family was presented with his Honourary Life Member award by Resby Coutts and
Elaine Owen from CurlManitoba. See our Facebook post for more details.
For the first time in a while we had a 24 teams competing for the title this year over
3 days, 9 round robin draws and playoffs. Extra ends caused everything to end a little
later this year and here are your winners.
The first event of the season is in the books! We had a lot of great curling, and a few missteps, this past
weekend but that could be expected for the first competitive games of the year for most teams.
