The Albert Bazinet Open is in the books! The MJCT was back at the Heather Curling Club this weekend to honour our long time chair Albert Bazinet.
Team Sugden defeated Team Graham 7-3 in the men’s final, and Team Buchalter took the women’s final over Team Allan 4-1. Congratulations to this year’s champs!
Team Buchalter, Women's Champion
Team Sugden, Men's Champion
A special thank you to Albert’s family for speaking to all the curlers on Friday night and for presenting the trophy to the champions on Sunday. It meant a great deal to everyone there.
We would like to thank the Heather Curling Club for hosting the event this weekend and the icemakers for all their hard work on tight draws and late nights.
