MJCT + Heather Curling Club + Asham + 106 LRSD International Students + 16 AMAZING Volunteers + a hot dog lunch + snacks = 1 INCREDIBLE DAY!
The Manitoba Junior Curling Tour partnered with the Heather CC and Asham to host 106 International Students from around the world! On Nov. 17th, they were provided with an opportunity to ‘Learn to Curl’!
Laughter, smiles, high fives and 100+ thank you’s said it all! And a few enthusiastic souls have already asked how they can come and curl again!
Thank you to LRSD for asking us to coordinate and supply some on ice coaching! And a HUGE shout out to our strategic partners: the Heather CC for providing the facility, lunch and GREAT ice and our Title Sponsor Asham for providing brooms and sliders!
